Schedule
The schedule for the
remote version of Houstonfest in 2021 will be entirely different than usual.
The schedule from 2020 further down is left here as a model for a
non-pandemic year.
Here is the
final schedule for the live online events in 2021.
The director will provide
teachers the
corresponding Zoom links for each event,
and the teachers will
relay them to their students.

General Instructions for
Judges (specifically for 2021)
Judging Assignments 2021
Some people are judging 1 event while others (who volunteered to do
so) are judging 2 events.
I didn't have to assign anyone to judge
3 events, although some people were willing.
Proctors of the live online events (via
Zoom) on Saturday, 2/6, are listed at the end of the table.
Proctors, with 1 exception (Hulse), do
not have to judge anything.
Much more information about your
assignment(s) will be shared with you via email. |

Note:
Students in all drama events and folk dance MUST do everything possible to adhere to the
scheduled performance times. They should, in fact, arrive 10 minutes BEFORE
their scheduled time to get all props, etc. ready, so that when the previous
group finishes, they can march right in and get on with the show. The students
should structure the entire rest of their day around their scheduled drama
times.
If a
cast member is involved in a Pass auf! game when the drama event is
scheduled to start, he/she needs to leave the Pass auf! game and go to
the drama event. Pass auf! teams can continue to compete with fewer than
five members if necessary. |
