General Schedule
7:30-8:05 a.m.

Teachers and judges report to the library, which is the first thing you see when you come in from the parking lot, to receive judging packets.  Complimentary donuts, kolaches, coffee, juice, soda, and water will be served.

8:10-8:20 a.m. Brief but important judges' meeting in the library.  Once the judges disperse to their rooms, the refreshments will be moved to 1511 for the rest of the morning.  If judges have down time, they are welcome to come to 1511 for refreshments.  A refreshment cart will also make the rounds to the competition rooms around 10:00 for those judges who can't get away.
7:30-8:30 a.m. Meanwhile, students can visit the concession stand for breakfast items.  They should also place their art events in the appropriate rooms and sign up for times to compete in chorus, classical ensemble, directed dialogue, duet acting, extemporaneous speaking, poetry memory/reading, polka band, prose memory/reading, scavenger hunt, sight reading, and vocal solo.  The sign-up lists will be posted on the doors of the rooms.
8:30 a.m. Contests begin.
8:30 a.m. Judging of art events begins.  Research papers and videos must be turned in to director Rustin Buck in the teachers' lounge (1511) by this time.
9:00 a.m. Pass auf! begins.
10:30 a.m. Deadline to pre-purchase lunch combos from the concession stand.
~12:30 p.m. Contests end (except Pass auf!, which last until 1:00, and folk dance, which lasts until 1:15).  Lunch at the concession stand or off campus.
2:00 p.m. Begin gathering in the commons (cafeteria) to wait for the awards ceremony, which will follow as soon as possible.  Performance by the band Das ist lustig.

Note:

Students in all drama events (and folk dance) MUST do everything possible to adhere to the scheduled performance times.  They should, in fact, arrive 10 minutes BEFORE their scheduled time to get all props, etc. ready, so that when the previous group finishes, they can march right in and get on with the show.  The students should structure the entire rest of their day around their scheduled drama times.

If a cast member is involved in a Pass auf! game when the drama event is scheduled to start, he/she needs to leave the Pass auf! game and go to the drama event.  Pass auf! teams can continue to compete with fewer than five members if necessary.
