Lunch Options
On Campus
The Clements Global Studies Academy Booster
Club will offer a concession stand, including breakfast items (muffins,
donuts, kolaches), snacks (chips, candy, popcorn), drinks (Coke,
Sprite, water), and a choice of TWO LUNCH COMBOS (2 pieces of pizza OR 1
Chick-fil-A sandwich + chips + cookies + drink). The pizza combo is $5.50
and the Chick-fil-A combo is $6.00.
Here is a
printer-friendly menu.
IMPORTANT: The lunch combos will
need to be pre-ordered and paid by 10:30 a.m. so that we will know how much
pizza and how many sandwiches to order. Students who pre-order a lunch
combo will receive a ticket that they will exchange later for their food, which
should make the distribution at lunchtime very quick and efficient. A
limited amount of extra pizza and chicken sandwiches will be ordered for
individual sales at lunchtime, but not much. To be assured of having a
lunch, students should pre-order a combo before 10:30.
Near Clements High School
If
you would like to leave the campus for lunch...
- The easiest option would be
First Colony Mall, which has a food court and several free-standing
restaurants in Zone E. To get to the mall from Clements: left
out of the parking lot, left on Sweetwater, straight at Lexington, right on
Town Center, which runs right into the side of the mall where the food court
is.
- Between the mall and Hwy. 6 there is Sugar Land Town
Center with a number places to eat (Chipotle, Jimmy John's Sandwiches, La
Madeleine, Cheesecake Factory, Black Walnut Cafe, Souper Salad, TGI
Friday's, and many more). Directions: left out of the parking
lot, left on Sweetwater, right on Lexington, straight at Austin Parkway,
left into mall area (no traffic light there, but it's just after you've
passed the football stadium), right at the stop sign onto the mall loop
road, right on Town Center.
- In the shopping center anchored by Kroger at Lexington
and Sweetwater are a Quizno's, a Thai Cottage, an Olive Garden, and a Subway
(Subway is across the street from Kroger).
- Crossing under 59 on Sweetwater, you come to a shopping
center (Town Center Square) with a Wendy's, an IHOP, a Taco Cabana, and a
Popeye's.
- On Lexington at Austin Parkway, on the other side of the
street from the mall, there is a Skeeter's and a Jus Mac (all kinds of mac &
cheese). Directions: left out of the parking lot, left on
Sweetwater, right on Lexington, look right and enter parking lot just before you come to the
next light (Austin Parkway).
- There are all kinds of options along Hwy. 6, especially
between Wiliams Trace and Settlers Way. Directions: left out of
the parking lot, left on Sweetwater, right on Lexington, right on Hwy. 6.
